at surgery

So, after many tears from PJ while we were waiting for the surgeon to come in, he finally fell asleep.  I wasn’t able to nurse him after 7 this morning so he was pretty hungry and didn’t quite understand why I woudn’t feed him.   David and I both teared up when they took him away and we were then walked to the surgical waiting area.  This brought back a flood of a memories.  We are sitting in the exact same waiting room where we sat with my parents during his first surgery.  We are in the room we were waiting in when were got the confirmation that PJ has Down Syndrome.  We are hoping for much better news this time around.

I’m sure you and Dave know this already, but there are COUNTLESS people thinking and praying for PJ today.
